How My Diffuser Has Changed My Sleep Game (For the Better)

So if you follow me on Instagram, you know that I recently bought a diffuser! (Okay, it was more like a month ago but that’s ‘recent’ in my life…) Anyway! I got a diffuser and it has literally changed my sleep game forever. I am obsessed.

My diffuser started as a purchase to help ease my anxiety. I had done a bunch of research on natural, holistic ways to manage my anxiety and people were raving about how their diffuser was helping them. I read that diffusers, and specific essential oils like lavender, really helped people to manage their anxiety. I instantly started looking for diffusers and researched the best ones out there (because I promise, there are a lot on the market). Then I saw Jules from Om & The City post about the diffuser from Art Naturals. Instantly I was on their site checking out their products.

When it comes to buying a product, I am not one to buy the first thing I see. I do research, I read reviews, I price check. Once I got found the Art Naturals diffuser, I was really happy. After some thinking, I decided to go with the bluetooth diffuser and top 8 oils set. I went with this one because it came with Art Naturals top eight best selling oils and it was reasonably priced. Did I need it to be bluetooth? No, but I got the perk of being able to play music through it if I ever decide I want to.

I keep my diffuser in my bedroom and mostly use it while I sleep at night. I find that it really helps me to relax both physically and mentally at night when I am usually most restless. My brain likes to get caught up in my thoughts at night but since investing in my diffuser, I rarely get caught up in my thoughts. It helps me to relax and calm down in order to get better sleep and be a more enjoyable human in turn. I use it every night, set it to diffuse for an hour, and go to sleep. My sleep game has never been better. Is it the placebo effect? Maybe. But I like to think it is my diffuser 😊

When I am feeling extra stressed, I take some lavender oil and rub it on the inside of my wrist and behind my ears for simple reminders throughout the day to relax. Sometimes I diffuse the lemon scent or eucalyptus oil for a more alert vibe in my room while I am working. Diffusing is a practice, similar to yoga or meditation, and take dedication. You can’t really go halfway with it. If you want the best results, you have to use it regularly. I’m no pro, but the more consistly I use my diffuser, the better my mind feels.

The more well I feel.

If you are struggling with sleep, or overall wellness, maybe think about a diffuser. Do your research and pick one that will be the best for you. Doesn’t have to be the same as mine, but it might be. If you do decide to invest, let me know below!

Shine on,
