Spring Look Book 2017

Spring is finally here, thank goodness! Warmer weather, spring flowers, and cute sandals all around! Check out some of the new pieces that I am gravitating to more and more the warmer the weather gets.

Madewell Embroidered Cactus Shirt

I love plants and I love plants on shirts. This crisp, white button down top is perfect for spring. The embroidered cactuses make the shirt a little more fun and playful than a plain white shirt. Pair it with some dark denim or a pair of overalls and you’re good to go!

Old Navy Floral Midi Dress

Florals for spring are pretty much a no brainer and with it getting warmer outside, all I want to do is wear a dress. I love this dress in particular because it is long enough to wear to school when I work with my first graders! Woohoo! I always pair it with some simple sandals and a denim jacket.

Madewell Silk Lace-Up Dress

Again with the floral and the dressed. I love this dress because I can dress it up or down making it super versatile. Pair it with some black heels to a party or throw on some sandals and a denim vest during errands. I personally love the lace-up detail, very on trend.

Madewell Leila Sandal

I finally broke down and invested in a solid pair of brown slip on sandals. And then I promptly got them wet and now they have a water stain on them (typical). These sandals are a new staple in my closet and I can’t wait to wear them throughout the season!

Birkenstock Arizona Sandal

When I’m not tromping around in my nice leather slip-ons, I’m wearing these bad boys. I am so in love with my Birks that I even wore them to my sorority formal two weeks ago! Birkenstocks are the type of shoe that really need to broken in to in order to be comfortable but once you break them in, they are amazing! Another staple to invest in for sure!

Happy spring time to all of you! What are some new pieces that you have invested in recently? Which piece in this post was your favorite?

Shine on,

Maddy
