And I hope that you are having a fantastic week, a great Wednesday so far. And I hope that things are going well for you. And I genuinely, genuinely mean that. In case you missed our episode. Last week, I did share some quick announcements after we took a little summer vacation from the podcast about new things that you can expect. And other things that are coming to this space in this this amazing podcast that we’ve had for almost over two years now, which is wild. So if you want to know what those updates are, pause this episode, head back to Episode 119. Give those a listen. Because there’s lots of good things coming. And I want to make sure that you are up to speed on all things living in sunshine podcast. For today’s episode, we are talking about something that I am super, super passionate about. And something that has kind of become a part of what I do for a living now, which is crazy to think. And that is gaining clarity, and helping other women gain the clarity that they need in their lives to live a life that they love and one that feels fulfilling, and in alignment and full of purpose. Because this is something that I actually lacked for a very, very long time. For the longest time in my life, I would say probably two to three years, maybe four full years. In my life, I lacked true clarity on what I wanted to do. And if you are someone who is currently feeling like this, or you have felt like this in the past, you know how tough that lack of clarity is to deal with because I feel and this is my opinion, maybe you agree maybe you don’t, that we are raised at least the generation that I was raised with right millennials and late, you know, Gen Zers, were raised to believe that we had to have it figured out by the time we graduated from high school, right? We were kind of given that narrative of you graduate from high school, you go to college, you find your partner, you get married, you have a couple kids and you like live like that for the rest of forever, right. But in reality in 2023, and in our modern society, that’s just not true. And that’s just not how things go. And I posted about this on my Instagram a few weeks ago now. And it’s something that I was talking about with my therapist, Mary, who I love, shout out to Mary, I was talking to Mary about this idea that while it’s great being the generation that is breaking those societal expectations of having kids or working at the same job for 50 years, or getting a college degree or whatever it might be. While it’s great that we are the ones breaking down those barriers and rewriting kind of the book, if you know what I mean. It’s also really fucking exhausting. And it’s really hard to deal with. And it’s really hard to manage sometimes those emotions that come from being the ones rewriting the book, and it can feel really draining. And I think this stems back from not having clarity, and what you want in life and what you want your life to look like or be or have, right? That’s really tough. And that’s really exhausting. And it’s something that I know firsthand, because for the longest time, that’s how I felt. I’m thankful because the way that I was raised, I was actually raised to believe that I could do almost anything that I wanted to do. And I’ve talked about this before my mom always told me and it’s always stuck with me that we could do whatever we wanted to do, so long as what we did, would afford us the life that we wanted to live right she would always say if you want to be a ditch digger be a ditch digger but you’ve got to understand that you’re only going to be able to afford the kind of life that a ditch digger can afford to live right. And she’s always been supportive of me in the many career and, and passion changes that I’ve had in the last five years since graduating. But along the way, true clarity is something that I really lacked. And I think that lack of clarity is why I’ve had so many different passion changes, career changes, things that I’ve done for a living changes in the last five years. And that lack of clarity, I think after really considering it and marinating on it on my own is the reason why I have felt the need to change and try to figure out which thing is going to be the thing that sticks right? And the reason why I have found that clarity is so important in life is because when we

I have true clarity. We know what our purpose is. Right? I’m going to say that again, when we have true clarity on what we want in life, what we want our life to feel like or look like or to include. We know what our bigger purpose is. And so much in life, we hear this reoccurring thing of like, what is the bigger meaning of life? What is art? What is purpose, right? What is our purpose of being here, right. And I think that in order to find your purpose, you have to first gain clarity on what you want your life to look like. And this practice is actually something that I teach within my group coaching program called the six weeks to you accelerator, I will link that info down below in case you’re curious on what that is. Because clarity is the foundation of finding your purpose. But then from there, setting your goals and casting a vision. And then from there, making and doing the work making the plan to then do the work to make that bigger life happen that you want for yourself. And so if you are unsure as to what your goals should be, or you’re not sure how to make those goals happen, or you’re unclear as to what your purpose is, you need to back step one more, and work to find clarity as to what you want your life to actually look like, right? It’s kind of a step by step roadmap, a step by step process that you have to go through. In order to get to the end of knowing what the hell you’re supposed to be doing in life, you first got to start by gaining clarity. But how do you do that? Right? Well, it’s something that you can do on your own. It’s something that if you Google or you look up on Pinterest, you’re going to find a slew of people who, who you know, have their own processes and systems and things that they do. But the thing that has changed the game for me personally, is talking about it with another human, and talking about what’s on my mind, what’s on my heart, what I want to be included in my dreams, what my goals are, what the things are, that bring me joy, and bring me passion is in talking about those things with another human right. And in case you’re like, I don’t have anyone like that, I wish I had someone like that. I’m here for you. And I have something for you that you can take advantage of, to have that other person to talk through those things with. And this is called a clarity call. Now, Clarity Calls are something that I started to offer a few months ago back earlier in the spring of this year. And they are literally the perfect thing, if you are someone who feels like I don’t know what my bigger purpose is, I’m not sure how to pursue this goal. I have this thing on my heart that I really want to do. But I’m not sure what the first right step is. That’s when you book a clarity call. And I can promise you, at the end of this call with me, it’s a one on one zoom, call me face to face, talk it out, hash it out, it’s amazing. By the end of this call, I can promise you that you will walk away with tangible steps that you can take action items that you can do in order to walk through that process of gaining clarity, determining your purpose, setting your goals and casting your vision, and then actually doing the frickin work. So that way you start to live a life that you love. But again, it starts all the way at the back of gaining clarity. And so if you are ready, if you’re tired of feeling like oh my god, I have no idea what I’m doing. I wish I had a purpose, all of my friends seem to have it figured out, I can tell you right now they don’t have it figured out, they’re just really good at faking it.

They’re just really good. We’re all just really good at faking it right? If you’re tired of feeling that way, you need to book a clarity call, okay. And in case that’s out of budget, or it’s not in your wheelhouse, or whatever it might be, the biggest thing that you can do to support yourself on your own to gaining clarity is giving your brain space to think.

And the reason why this is important is because so often we are moving so quickly through life, we are processing and taking in so much information all the time that our brain literally doesn’t have the bandwidth or the capacity to process and think deeply about what we want. But if you give yourself space, and time, and quietness, to allow your brain to explore, and play and wander, I promise you, it will start to send you signs and send you feelings and ideas that will lead you to that clarity that you’re so desperately looking for. Okay? So I always encourage people to book a call. But in case that’s not in your budget, I honor that I see that I love I love a baby on a budget. I’m one of those girls too. I want you to work and I want to give you the homework step, the action step today to make space and make some quiet time for your brain to just think right. And in case you’re someone like me where you kind of always have to have your hands moving like you’ve always got to be doing something. Something that you could do on top of this as you do this quiet time is to just free journal write something I did that was really powerful to you

years ago, which really did help me gain a lot of clarity was I got out a piece of paper, I actually think I did this in my planner, my digital planner, and I wrote the question at the top, what do you want. And I just sat there for a few minutes. And I really thought about it, and marinated on it. And as soon as my brain started to come up with ideas, I wrote them down. And I wrote down, essentially, the ground foundation of living in sunshine of what I’m doing now of this podcast and digital resources and mentorship and coaching that came from 15 minutes of quiet time by myself. And I wrote it all down. And I just let my brain think. And I wrote, and I wrote, and I wrote until I had a full page of all of these amazing ideas and things that I wanted to do. And I had the clarity that I needed. And I now and living that clarity, two years later, but it started with making the choice to seek clarity, and pursue clarity in the first place. We can’t continue to push down that feeling of I’m not enough, I’ll figure it out later, I guess this is just how it’s going to be. Because it doesn’t have to be like that your life does not have to be that feeling of oh, I guess this is as good as it gets. Because it doesn’t, it can get better, it will get better, but only as long as you choose to make it better by starting to gain the clarity that you want so bad. So if you are ready to gain some clarity in your own life, because you now understand how important it is right? It’s literally the foundation for your purpose and your goals and where you’re going and your direction, right. And if you’re ready to get there, if you’re ready to start to learn how to do that, and live a life that you’re obsessed with, and you want to book a call a link those forms down below there is a Google server that I need you to fill out. Um, it has all the details in the things that you need in order to book and let’s get that thing on the freaking calendar girl. Let’s go I cannot wait to work with you in this way to sit down with you on a call and get this clarity going for your own life. So you can go out there and make waves and do the things that you’ve always wanted to do with purpose and intention and direction. Until next week, my friend I love you so much. I hope you know that.
